Meet the Candidate
Edward Stredney
Lifelong Trumbull County resident. Finance professional. Public servant.
Edward Stredney isn't a career politician. He's a neighbor, a professional, and a community member who believes the Auditor's Office should be run with integrity, competence, and a genuine commitment to the people of Trumbull County.
Background
A Trumbull County Story
Edward Stredney was born and raised in Trumbull County. He grew up watching his community grow, change, and face the same challenges that many Rust Belt communities know well — economic shifts, tight budgets, and the need for local government that actually works for its residents.
After earning his degree in finance and accounting, Edward built a career in financial management and public administration. He's spent years working with budgets, audits, and financial reporting — the exact work the Auditor's Office does every day.
What sets Edward apart isn't just his professional background. It's his belief that local government should be boring in the best possible way: predictable, transparent, and free from political drama. The Auditor's Office isn't a platform for ambition — it's a service to the community.
